BTSD'S SCHEDULE FOR MAJOR SERVICES & EVENTS for 2014

 2014 MAJOR SERVICE GUEST SPEAKERS

  BTSD will offer outstanding ministerial speakers from various temples throughout BCA to share the   
 Dharma at our 2014 major service observances. Some of our guests will also offer BEC-sponsored
 sessions (please refer to homepage and/or calendar).

  Here are the temple's major services, along with the guest speakers:

  Rev. Kenji invites the Sangha to participate in all of the major services, as well as our
  weekly Sunday gatherings. All services begin at 10 a.m.                                                                                    
                                                                                         


    Each year, we count on the Sangha and our community friends to support the many
    fundraisers that facilitate the temple’s daily operations throughout the year.
    For 2014, we again encourage your strong support of these activities.
    Here are the dates for BTSD’s fundraising events:


  •        June 1: BTSD Japanese Cultural Bazaar
  •        Aug. 2: Bon Odori Festival
  •        Aug. 16/17: Parking Lot Rummage Sale
  •        Aug. 24: 19th Annual BTSD Golf Tournament
  •        Oct. 19: Asian Food & Craft Fair
  •          Dec. 14: Mochitsuki


    In addition, the BTSD/VFW Bingo sessions will be held on the following Saturdays:
    JANUARY 25 (Benefit Chicken Katsu Dinner), FEBRUARY 22, MARCH 29, APRIL 26 (Benefit
    Spaghetti Dinner), MAY 24, JUNE 28 (Benefit Dinner), JULY 26, AUGUST 30, SEPTEMBER 27,
    NOVEMBER 1 and 29.
    Proceeds from the bingo sessions are split between the temple and the VFW and are
    therefore considered temple fundraisers.
    The Temple will also host some benefit dinners to be held prior to BINGO. Dates and
    menus will be announced.
