2012 MAJOR SERVICE GUEST SPEAKERS

    BTSD will offer outstanding ministerial speakers from various
    temples throughout BCA to share the Dharma at our 2012
    major service observances.
    Some of our guests will also offer BEC-sponsored sessions (TBA).
    Here are the temple's major services, along with the guest speakers:

    Rev. Mukojima invites the Sangha to participate in all of the major services,
    as well as our weekly Sunday gatherings.
    All services begin at 10 am.                                                                                    
                                                                                          



    Each year, we count on the Sangha and our community friends to support the
    many fundraisers that facilitate the temple’s daily operations throughout the year.
    For 2012, we again encourage your strong support of these activities.
    Here are the dates for BTSD’s fundraising events:

  •        June 3: BTSD Japanese Cultural Bazaar
  •        Aug. 4: Bon Odori Festival
  •        Aug. 18/19: Parking Lot Rummage Sale
  •        Aug. 26: 17th Annual BTSD Golf Tournament
  •        Oct. 7:  Asian Food & Craft Fair
  •          Dec. 16: Mochitsuki

    In addition, the BTSD/VFW Bingo sessions will be held on the following
    Saturdays: Jan. 28, Feb. 25, March 31, April 28, May 26, June 30, July 28,
    Aug. 25, Sep. 29, Oct. 20 and Nov. 24. Proceeds from the bingo sessions
    are split between the temple and the VFW and are therefore considered
    temple fundraisers.
    For the third year, we will host four benefit dinners to be held prior to BINGO.
    Dates and menus will be announced.
